Green ICT

In a society where our natural environment has been depleting at an unsustainable rate, companies worldwide have been pushing toward a greener approach.  All industries have been making efforts to reduce emissions and cut excess supply, including the IT world.

T-Systems has long been taking its environmental responsibilities seriously.  The ICT company develops and implements solutions that help preserve natural resources and, in many cases, reduce carbon emissions.  These activities are integral to Deutsche Telekom Group’s Corporate Responsibility strategy.

Green ICT at T-Systems is a four-pronged initiative; developing innovative solutions that reduce paper usage, lower energy consumption, and cut down on travel and traffic; and reducing the amount of hardware that customers need to deploy.   Four different approaches with a common goal: to help enterprises dramatically reduce their carbon footprint.
